When you post you are not only talking but acting everything out. Think of it as one big story. You need to write your actions and responses, feelings even if you want. You can see that just by looking at the board but here is an example.
-We usually start by putting actions in "*....*" and thoughts in italics so we can tell them apart from the dialogue.
The following is an example of how to post an action with dialogue:
*She leaned forward on the chair*
Hello there.
*She enjoyed sneaking up on people it always made them smell so good*
There are also smileys that you can add in but some people choose to write out winking or smiling, sometimes it makes it more interesting, that choice is up to you.
You can post normally on a page by just clicking Post Reply or you can click quote to address a certain comment that was left. When you 'Quote' someone it puts their post inside of yours to show exactly what you're referring to. To do so write after the body or portion of their quote where it says [/quote]. This will put their quote before your reply. If you do otherwise it will combine both the 'Quoted' portion and your response making it difficult for others to read your post. It is also easy to go back and Edit your posts if you do make a mistake, typo or some sort of error. Simply click the 'Edit' button at the top of your post and it will allow you to change anything you have written there.
